Birthday,  Fall

Autumn Leaves

Happy Birthday Peg! I hope she likes the card I made for her. Since her birthday is in September and it is fall, I decided to go with the fall theme. I just love fall colors to begin with so that made this card very easy to put together.

Instructions for this Project:

  1. Use the Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder to emboss Very Vanilla yardstick.
  2. Cut two /8″ wide strips of the All About Autumn Speciality 6″ x 6″ DSP. The longer strips needs to be longer than 6″ to fit – so cut across the diagonal of the 6″ x 6″ DSP.
  3. I used Liquid Glue to adhere the DSP to the Very Vanilla , than butting the edges of the thin strip to that.
  4. I attached this to a piece of Copper Clay Yardstick.
  5. I then die cut the two leaves ran through the same embossing folder. I also decided to die cut some twigs along with die cutting the veins for the leaves. Glued everything together and using dimensional to pop up the leaves.
  6. Added my sentiment, copper bow, and a few gems to finish the card off.
